Already on a Roster brand plan? Your brand key covers the full API, unmetered, at no extra cost. Manage it in Settings → API & Integrations.

How credits work

Two meters. That's the whole model.

Credits reset monthly with your billing cycle. Only the two data endpoints are metered, and each has one fixed cost.

01

10 credits per search

GET /v1/creators/search runs one query against the whole 1,000,000+ record index: 14 combinable filters, up to 100 records per page. Search is weighted heavier than a read so no tier can paginate the entire directory.

02

1 credit per profile read

GET /v1/creators/{pk} returns one full 16-field record. Priced so hydrating and refreshing the records your product renders stays cheap at any volume.

03

Brand keys are never metered

The write side (briefs, campaigns, contracts, messages, payouts and the rest) runs on brand keys, included with any Roster brand plan at no per-call cost. Credits only meter data keys.

Worked example

What $199/month buys on Growth

Growth carries 150,000 credits. Spent entirely on search at 10 credits each, that is 15,000 searches a month, and since each search returns up to 100 records, up to 1.5 million creator rows flowing into your system monthly. Spent entirely on reads, it is 150,000 full-record hydrations. Mix freely.

growth-math.txt

150,000 credits / month ($199)

all search: 150,000 / 10 = 15,000 searches
             15,000 × 100 = up to 1,500,000 records
all reads: 150,000 / 1 = 150,000 profile reads
Rate limits

Per-minute ceilings, per tier.

Exceeding the per-minute limit returns 429 RATE_LIMITED. Exhausting the monthly credit budget returns 402 CREDITS_EXHAUSTED.

FAQ

Pricing, answered straight.

How does pricing work?

Credits. A search costs 10 credits, a profile read costs 1. Starter is $49/month for 25,000 credits, Growth is $199/month for 150,000, Scale is $499/month for 500,000. There is no free tier; there is no per-seat pricing. Need more volume? Talk to the team.

What are the rate limits?

60 requests/minute on Starter, 120 on Growth, 300 on Scale. Exceeding the per-minute limit returns 429 with code RATE_LIMITED. Exhausting the monthly credit budget returns 402 with code CREDITS_EXHAUSTED.

What is a data key vs a brand key?

A data key is what you buy here: self-serve, read-only access to creator search and creator profiles, metered in credits. A brand key comes free with any Roster brand plan and covers the full surface: briefs, campaigns, applications, contracts, messages, payouts, shipments, webhooks. Same rsk_ format, same base URL.

Pick a tier, make a request.

Keys are self-serve and shown once at creation. Plans are monthly, and your credits reset with each billing cycle.
